Touch Bionics, a UK manufacturer of advanced upper-limb bionic technologies has declared the i-LIMB Pulse which is a brand new version of its i-LIMB hand. i-LIMB hand has the title of first commercially available bionic hand which comes with a variety of features such as pulsing grip strength, software-enabled grip patterns, and robust aluminum features for better strength.

It has BioSIM’s new Bluetooth-enabled software that allows prosthetisc and enables users to select and control many of its features according to their requirements. The i-LIMB Pulse is very flexible to its users which can carry out various things for them such as index point, precision pinch, lateral key grip and three jaw chuck (tripod). The i-LIMB Pulse is expected to ship in the start of June, 2010.
